HOOQ Filmmakers Guild 2018: Create the next big series in Southeast Asia!

Calling all commercial directors, producers, script writers and filmmakers! HOOQ is on the search for the top film talents in Southeast Asia to turn their ideas into reality. 

After the success of last year, the HOOQ Filmmakers Guild is back on Genero for 2018, creating a ground-breaking initiative to give a voice to emerging filmmakers and bringing Asia’s edgiest and most compelling stories to audiences hungry for good quality local shows.

Filmmakers from Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, India, Indonesia, Vietnam and Cambodia and the Philippines are invited to pitch concepts for locally relevant shows, with 5 ideas selected to be made into pilot episodes with USD $30,000 each! The most outstanding pilot will then be commissioned into a full series as a HOOQ original production.
