The Mumbrella Asia Awards celebrate the best, bravest and most effective media and marketing work from across the region. The 2018 awards were judged by 200 industry experts, mainly client-side marketers, in a robust two-round process that included live judging.
We’re thrilled to have been named Disruptor of the Year at the Awards Gala last night in Singapore. This category acknowledges those organisations going beyond mere innovation with solutions that actually disrupt a whole industry. Jurors were looking for evidence of how industry norms and business models were uprooted with less expensive solutions that were more creative, efficient, impactful, scalable and user-friendly than traditional routes.
Our solution connects marketers with a global community of professional creators, and streamlines the end-to-end production process. Aligned with the changing requirements of brands, we proved to the judges that our new model enables marketers to scale their video production and reduce costs while becoming more creative, agile and authentic.
We shared a number of innovative case studies and client testimonials with the judges, such as this quote from Matthew Hulen, Regional Director of Marketing – South-East Asia, Hilton: “Genero has truly disrupted the content marketing space, enabling us to produce high quality, multi-market campaigns with creativity, costs and timelines not afforded to us via traditional routes. The ability to connect with such a diverse, global community of creators generates infinite creative possibilities. This intersection of creativity and technology is where modern marketers need to play to tap into fresh, authentic ideas, whilst driving marketing efficacy.”
This is our third award of the year, following two Digiday Award wins in Europe and the US for Best Content Marketing Platform.
